Once at the top, take some time to enjoy the incredible views: the medieval walled town of Dubrovnik, the vast Adriatic Sea, the islands that dot the horizon. Then, head back down. You have the option to climb up onto the city walls and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Adriatic, as well as the towers at each corner of the wall, including Minčeta Tower, St John’s Fortress and Fort Bokar. After you’ve walked in a complete circle (or, in this case, a square), head back down to Pile Square for the end of the tour. Overnight and dinner in Dubrovnik.
DAY 4 (JUNE 12): DUBROVNIK – MONTENEGRO
After breakfast, we take a scenic drive to Montenegro and its beautiful coastal Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and Montenegro's crowning glory. Kotor is a city of baroque palaces, famous medieval goldsmiths and master armorers. Enjoy a scenic cruise to “Our Lady of the Rocks” a little chapel with a museum attached to it on a tiny artificial island. According to the legend, the islet was made over the centuries by local seamen after finding the icon of Madonna and the Child on the rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. Over time, the islet gradually emerged from the sea. Now, Our Lady of the Rocks is protector of all seamen who come to Boka Bay. It is also where one can feel the true spirit of the only Fjord in the Mediterranean. After lunch (on your own), you will uncover the mysteries of Montenegro. Stroll the cobblestone lanes of picturesque Kotor on a walking tour of the historic old town, visit the cathedral of St. Trifun from the 12th century, the Maritime Museum, numerous palaces, old squares and feel the atmosphere of this unique medieval city. Then stop by Budva, a walled medieval town on the sea and admire the sandy beaches. Then we head up north to Medjugorje for dinner and overnight.
Day 5/6 (JUNE 13-14: MEDJUGORJE (2 Days)

Attend English Mass at 10:00 AM (daily) at St. James Church. At the end of each Mass, there is a blessing of the religious articles that you have with you; Climb Apparition Hill: This mountainous hill is where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Also, at the base of this hill is a Blue Cross, where it is said Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the alleged apparitions. When climbing, your group is invited to recite the Rosary, pausing five times for each decade of the Rosary. At the top of the hill, you will witness the exact location of the first alleged apparition of Our Lady to the visionaries, and enjoy private time in prayer.
On the 2nd day, you have the opportunity to climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain): In 1933, the villagers built a 30' high cross atop a mountain to commemorate Jesus' passion and death on the cross and venerate that very cross. When climbing, your group is invited to pray the Stations of the Cross (to meditate on Jesus' suffering Road to Calvary), pausing at each Station.
While in Medjugorje, you are invited to attend the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at some scheduled nights outside St. James Church. Pilgrims have profound experiences during these times while the spirit of the songs sung by village youth moves your soul to another level of relationship with the Lord. The performers of this once-in-a-decade event are all native to the village. To lend authenticity to the performance, the cast starts to grow their hair and beards more than a year in advance.
